Commissions by Arcilia

Bring Your Ideas to Life

I love creating artwork that’s both personal and meaningful. Whether it’s a portrait, pet, home, or landscape, commissions give me the chance to connect with people and capture the details that matter most to them. Each project is a collaboration that blends your vision with my love of charcoal.

Popular Commission Subjects

  • Pet Portraits – Celebrate the bond with your companion.

  • Homes & Landscapes – Capture the beauty of special places.

  • Portraits & Scenes – Personal works that reflect unique stories.

The Commission Process

Step 1: Choose Size & Subject
Decide on the number of subjects and the size of your piece. I’ll provide a price estimate and help guide your choice if you’re unsure.

Step 2: Send Reference Photos
High-quality photos are essential. Lighting, detail, and expression all matter. I may ask for several options to ensure I capture your subject authentically. Don’t worry if you don’t have a single photo with all your pets together — I can combine multiple images into one finished portrait.

Step 3: Deposit & Timeline
A 1/3 deposit is required to initiate the process. If you have a deadline, let me know and I’ll do my best to meet it. Once details are confirmed, I’ll begin work and provide progress updates.

Step 4: Final Approval & Payment
I’ll send a photo of the finished piece for review. Once you approve it, the remaining balance is due. While I do not frame artwork directly, I’m happy to provide matting suggestions and frame color recommendations to suit your piece. Each commission comes with your choice of a mat cut to size from my selection of options, so it’s ready for framing when you receive it.

Step 5: Delivery or Pickup
Local clients can arrange pickup or delivery. For others, shipping with tracking is available. After you receive your drawing, all that’s left is to let me know what you think!
